Having been in the construction industry for over 40 years I have extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction. After joining Jims Building Inspections in 2015, I went on to become a Regional Franchisor in 2016.
I hold a mid-rise Builders Licence, have my Residential Building Inspectors licence and Pool Inspectors licence with the Queensland Building and Construction Commission and I am also qualified in Asbestos.

Patrick is our Building Inspector for Hope Island and surrounding areas. He has over 30 years’ experience in both residential, commercial, and civil construction as well as having worked on many large building projects throughout his career.
Patrick has a degree in Civil Engineering as well as Cert IV in Building and Construction. Patrick’s experience in the housing industry serves him well in identifying problems in both new and established properties as well as offering suitable solutions to bring buildings in line with the Building Code Standards of Australia.
Patrick resides on the Gold Coast and has a passion for spending his free time motor bike riding, relaxing at the beach and water sports. He enjoys spending time with his family and grand-children.
Shane is the local Palm Beach and surrounding suburbs Building Consultant and has had over 20 years of experience working in the Building industry.
He started working in the industry with a Bricklaying traineeship. He then completed his Advanced Diploma in Building to become a Licensed Builder.
Shane obtained a role working as a Project Manager for a remedial building company. This experience was invaluable in learning why building elements fail and how to rectify any defects.
Shane has also been fortunate enough to be a financial investor buying, renovating and building residential property and demonstrates both the knowledge and skills to support others with their building initiatives.

Tony completed his Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship in 1985. He has also complete a Building Foreman & Clerk of Works Post Trade Course.
Tony has over 30 years’ experience in both residential and commercial building, he has worked on many large building projects on the Gold Coast. These project include but are not limited to: the extension of the Allamanda Hospital and numerous attractions at Dreamworld ( Kola Country, Tiger Island and the Giant Drop). More recently Tony has been working on buildings and renovating high-end properties on the Gold Coast and the Kingscliff area.
Tony is married with two children; he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
